Expected results
In order to enhance access to and the use of ICT in the regions involved, a local support structure for enterprises was to be created in each of the participating regions Each of these organisations had to conduct a precise analysis of the needs in the respective region on the basis of a survey covering 100 regional enterprises. In 30 of these enterprises, a detailed audit had to be carried out, after which a concept for improving ICT|technology use had to be produced for each enterprise. All experience acquired in this process had to be made available to partners in the other regions via an Internet-based information platform.
Local agencies, as well as specific forms of support and assistance for enterprises had to be evaluated and condensed into a strategic recommendation for helping enterprises to enhance their use of ICT.
