ICT for SME´s
ICT for SME´s (Information and Communication Technologies for small and medium sized enterprises) is shorthand for the project entitled "Regional Strategies and Solutions to Enhance ICT-Access and use for Small and Medium sized Enterprises".
Between 2003 and 2006 eight regions from around the North Sea have worked together in this project, which received financial assistance from the INTERREG III B North Sea Region Programme of the European Union. Their aim was to demonstrate new ways of enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to integrate information and communication technologies (ICT) into their day-to-day work more intensively than before.
Thogether with the web presentation of the Norwegian partners (ictsmes.rkk.no) this is the official project website, providing information on the background, the partnership and the accomplished results of the ICTs for SMEs project. Meanwhile the project has been finalised, but all partner regions are still working on and with the results of the last years.
